These terms and conditions govern the use of our website at rebekahmorecroftphotography.co.uk and any photography services provided by Rebekah Morecroft Photography.

1. Booking and Payments

1.1 A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. This will be deducted from the total cost of the photography package.

1.2 The remaining balance is payable 7 days (for Family Portraits) & 28 days (for Weddings, Personal Branding and Events) before the photography session or event.

1.3 Rebekah Morecroft Photography reserves the right to cancel any booking where payment has not been received by the specified due date.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 If you need to cancel your booking, the following applies:

Family Portraits

  • [50%] refund if cancelled more than [7] days prior to the event.
  • [0%] refund if cancelled less than [7] days prior to the event.

Weddings, Personal Branding & Events

  • [50%] refund if cancelled more than [28] days prior to the event.
  • [0%] refund if cancelled less than [28] days prior to the event.

2.2 The deposit is non-refundable unless the cancellation is made by Rebekah Morecroft Photography.

2.3 If Rebekah Morecroft Photography needs to cancel your booking due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative photographer, where possible, or a full refund.

3. Postponements

3.1 If the client postpones the event, Rebekah Morecroft Photography will accommodate the new date, subject to availability. The deposit will be transferred to the new date. However, if Rebekah Morecroft Photography is unavailable, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.

4. Image Delivery

4.1 Images will be provided in a digital format unless otherwise agreed. Printed photographs, albums, or other physical products may incur additional charges.

4.2 Delivery of the final edited images will typically be within 2 weeks for a Family Session or 4 weeks for a Wedding, Personal Branding or an Event. This timeline may vary depending on the scope of the project.

5. Copyright and Usage

5.1 All images produced by Rebekah Morecroft Photography remain the intellectual property of the photographer, and we retain copyright over all images.

5.2 Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use the images for personal use, such as printing and sharing on social media (with appropriate credit to Rebekah Morecroft Photography).

5.3 Images may not be used for commercial purposes without written consent from Rebekah Morecroft Photography.

5.4 Rebekah Morecroft Photography reserves the right to use images for promotional purposes, including website portfolios, social media, and marketing materials, unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing.

6. Liability

6.1 Rebekah Morecroft Photography will take all reasonable steps to ensure high-quality services. However, we shall not be liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Illness
  • Equipment failure
  • Acts of God

6.2 In the unlikely event that all or part of the photographic services are unavailable or lost due to technical failure, Rebekah Morecroft Photography’s liability will be limited to a refund of any fees paid for the affected part of the services.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Any personal information collected by Rebekah Morecroft Photography will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of providing photography services.

7.2 We comply with all relevant UK data protection laws and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as necessary to deliver the agreed services.

8. Complaints

8.1 Any complaints should be made in writing to info@rebekahmorecroftphotography.co.uk within 28 days of receiving the final images.

8.2 We will aim to resolve any issues within 28 days. (We will hope to resolve any issues as soon as possible, but if the issue is an editing issue then more time may be needed).

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or related to the services provided by Rebekah Morecroft Photography will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
