Let me take you on a journey into my story of becoming a photographer. My dad loved taking pictures, and I caught that bug too. I always had a camera with me, I have many memories especially during my teenage years of capturing moments with my friends of our adventures. Exploring new places with my camera made me happy, especially capturing the stunning landscapes around me.

As time went on, I realised I had a God given talent for photography. I wanted to share it with the world. My dream was to become a professional photographer, focusing on family portraits and weddings.

In 2018, I started my own photography business. I began with family portraits and planned to do weddings in the future. Landscape photography remained my hobby, but I dreamed of having my own exhibition one day.

The business began on a strong note, and by late 2019, I reduced my work hours to dedicate more time to its growth. But in 2020, everything changed. The Covid19 pandemic hit. We tragically lost my father to cancer, and supporting my grieving mother became a priority. Amidst the turmoil, I met my husband and stepson, bringing joy to my life. These events reshaped my life in good and harder ways.

I tried to keep my business going and expand into weddings, but it became too much. Moving into an old house added to the stress. I couldn't find enough time for my business, and the financial crisis made it even hard to get clients.

My husband and I decided to take a step back and find a new way to support my dream. We opened an Etsy shop to sell my landscape photos. We combined our love for adventure with my passion for photography.

So, now I carefully researched places before we visit them to make sure I captured the best views. My list of places to explore keeps growing, and I can't wait to experience them with my family and document our adventures together and share the pictures and stories of our journeys and the incredible moments we have as a family.

What started as a dream to become a professional photographer turned into something even more special. Now, I get to take my family to amazing places and capture their beauty. I'm grateful that my husband and stepson love going on these journeys with me.

Prints are measured at the photo itself and do not include a border.
